Hello all!Well what a special place Venice is. It's certainly one of my favourite cities in the world and it never fails to impress me when I arrive. Around every corner there seems to be another incredible bit of history. Wonderful.Tonight's concert at the stunning Scuola Grande di San Giovanni Evangelista was great fun! The audience were very attentive and seemed to enjoy our programme which included Benjamin Britten's Choral Dances. Singing these really brought back so many memories of when I first started my tenure in The KS, 8 years ago - nearly to the day! They were programmed a lot in my first few years. I loved them then and I still love them now. Tonight I especially enjoyed the duet that I share with Patty as we do our best impersonation of a couple of country girls!!Hope you're all well and keeping warm wherever you are.
