Somewhere under the English Channel….

Good afternoon everyone! I hope you’ve had a good week since my last blog. It’s been another eventful week as a King’s Singer, no event more poignant than announcing my retirement from the group. It wasn’t an easy decision to make – I love the group and love being a part of this incredible ensemble but being away from Gemma and Harry is just too painful. Chris G is also retiring at the end of this GOLD year – so we’re inadvertedly ‘doing an Al and Si’! As I’m sure lots of you are aware – Al Hume and Simon Carrington (two of the original members of The KS) retired together at the end of the 25th anniversary. They were also parts 2 and 5! Funny how things work out.

Here’s a link to the announcement from our website:

An announcement from Chris G and Tim

Well, we’ve arrived now in Paris so I better get off this Eurostar train in case they shut the doors and take me back to London!

Toodle-oo for now….
