Richmond, UK

Greetings from home! We’re in a 24 hour window of being at home before we head back on tour tomorrow afternoon. This morning we returned from Luxembourg, where we stayed after yesterday’s concert in the Saarland, in western Germany. On arrival home from the airport I had a nice lunch with Ellie who was working from home, and we caught up about some arrangements for our wedding. She’s now out at the Chelsea Flower Show (!) so I am having a quiet night in with TV and a bowl of pasta and waiting for her return rather like a puppy without its owner.

Having performed 4 totally different programmes in: Lancut (Poland), Saint Petersburg (Russia), Pulborough (England) and Merzig (Germany) in this last week, I think we’re all feeling a bit dizzy at the moment! And on Wednesday, it’s another different programme again back in Germany in Dresden’s Frauenkirche — one of our favourite spots, for its wonderful acoustics. I must say, particular kudos to Eddie and Nick, who are taking tonnes of new music in their stride brilliantly.

In this coming week we’ve 2 concerts in Germany, then 1 in Switzerland (Sion — site of one of my first shows in the group) and a charity fundraising concert in north London for our former manager Claire’s church. Then we have a nice week off to enjoy, before heading into the recording studio to record our next big project; exciting times.
I hope I haven’t just stolen lots of material for others’ blogs later this week... sorry chaps..!
