Hey everyone,We are well and truly into the swing of things here at DePauw School of Music. The participants all arrived on Tuesday and we've been putting them through their paces! Everyone's been so positive and eager to learn. It's pretty full-on, I think, for some people to have six lots of information being shared one after the other but the participants have been keen to absorb as much of this new information as possible.Last night was great fun. It was the obligatory pub quiz run by our quiz master extraordinaire, Chris Gabbitas. The questions were varied and every originally-named group – I won't mention too many by name! – gave it their best shot. Bob's Big Boys took out the Inaugural US Summer School Pub Quiz Championship. Congratulations guys!Today Bob Chilcott joined us. It's so great to have him on board. I did a couple of joint teaching sessions with him this morning and I think I got as much out of the three hours as the participants. His ears are tremendous and he has such an engaging, enthusiastic and informative manner with anyone he speaks to.I took a video the other day of the most incredible rain. In no time at all the weather changed from overcast conditions to thunder and lightning!Let's hope it clears up soon!
