Quebec City, Canada

Had a great time in Quebec City last night! My first time there and great to brush up on some French for a change during this North American tour. Also interesting to see the subtle cultural differences in this part of Canada compared with the rest of the country. Concert went very well -- and a stunning hall (Palais Montcalm) in which to sing with colourful lighting and an energised audience. Stunning surrounding scenery in the Winter Wonderland vein with feet and feet of snow all around. All those winter and snow references in our programme were really felt for the first time this trip!Flying today back to the US to Richmond, VA, for some more temperate whether conditions. On the finishing streak of the tour now! This is my last blog of this term as we finish on Sunday (in Washington National Cathedral), so I'll take this opportunity to wish you all a merry Christmas and some quality time with friends and family as we turn the leaf of 2016.
