So off to America we go!!

I've just got to the airport and am sifting through some programme requests that have recently come in from the office. I'm really enjoying crafting programmes with the help of David and the rest of my colleagues. It's yet another example of how democratic it is in The KS!! It's always pleasing after a concert when a member of the public comes up to you saying how much they've enjoyed a programme that you've played a part in creating.Really excited about this American tour. It's going to be fun to see how Julian copes with our 'choreography' during the Great American Songbook shows - sure he'll get the hang of it soon enough! On this trip we'll also be singing through repertoire which feature in concerts after we get back from The States. For example the Pater Noster programme which Julian hasn't sung as yet. I have to say that it is certainly one my favourite sacred programmes that we do and if you haven't heard it then take a listen to this link below:https://www.kingssingers.com/products/pater-noster-a-choral-reflection-on-the-lords-prayer/It's been lovely being at home in the lead up to these 3 weeks away and especially as I've actually been around for Gemma's birthday - the first time since we've been together! I gave her a surprise party on Friday with lots of our buddies which was great fun. Photos to come shortly!!
