Changing of the Guard

It’s the merry month of Maying, and it’s been quite the month for us: two King’s Singers have given their last concerts, we have welcomed two new King’s Singers into the fold, and all whilst travelling through Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Hungary and Croatia. We also popped home to the UK to visit the beautiful surrounds of Dorchester Abbey, and the Priory Church in Edington, too.

We bade fond farewells to Chris and Pat this month, with their last concerts being in Dorchester Abbey and Ochsenhausen, respectively. Both Chris and Pat have given us so much over the years, recording iconic albums during their time in The King’s Singers, and sharing countless magical moments with audiences all around the world.

They will both be very sorely missed, and we can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done, but we wish them every happiness and success in their future endeavours - we can’t wait to see them in the audience at a concert soon!

Joey’s first King’s Singers concert this month is the stunning setting of Aiglon College, high up in the Swiss mountains. It was such a privilege for all of us to share the stage with Joey - he’s a natural! We can’t wait for Peter’s first concert later this month too!
