On 9 March The King’s Singers will embark on our first Australasian tour since 2018, travelling to China, New Zealand and Australia throughout March 2024.
We will begin with concerts in Nanjing and Wuhan, before giving three concerts in Wellington, Auckland and Christchurch in New Zealand, and Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Perth in Australia. This much anticipated tour entitled ‘Back! In Harmony’ will mark the first performances in Australia and New Zealand for two members of the group, Edward Button and Nick Ashby, who joined us just after our sell-out 2018 tour. It will be a joyful homecoming though for Chris Bruerton, the only Kiwi King’s Singer in the group’s history!
The international career of the very first King’s Singers was launched by their first tour of Australia 50 years ago, so we are thrilled to be embarking on this landmark tour, just a couple of seasons prior to our 60th anniversary.
