Auckland, New Zealand

Hello there!

What wonderfully sunny weather Christchurch has in its 'winter' time. It's definitely chilly, but the air is so fresh and the sun so bright that they sort of cancel out the cold!

Today we have our last concert in NZ - a show in the Aurora Centre at Burnside High School, here in Christchurch. It's going to be an extra special evening for CB, as this was the school in which he taught, before making the move to the UK. I doubt he thought he'd be returning to sing a concert as a member of The King's Singers!!

I've been spending some great time catching up with Gemma's parents, who have driven down from Nelson. Conversations about the wedding in January have been the hot topic and quite rightly so - there's lots to sort out and discuss!

Tonight there should be quite a few of Gemma's friends attending the concert, as was the case at the Auckland Town Hall last Saturday. I'll be sure to get some pics and pop them on next week's blog......
