Lymington, UK

We have our second concert of the season today, down south in The New Forest. It's great to have such a gradual build-up into the full swing of term - two concerts in two weeks... the calm before the storm! A fairly familiar programme tonight, with a few classic KS close-harmony pieces which we haven't performed in a while, so good to get them back up to scratch.Looking forward also to seeing the parents of an old school friend of mine at the concert - it's always nice to have a familiar face or two in the audience. It's Pat's birthday today, so that will add an extra element of fun on stage for sure!Off for a walk up and down Lymington High Street now for a bit of fresh air ahead of our rehearsal. When you're away on tour abroad all the time, it can be easy to forget how truly lovely these English towns and villages are!
