London, UK

Well here I am on the train back from the airport after an awesome couple of days in Italy. I can’t wait to get back home to Gemma and little Harry. I’ve missed them so much and he is changing every day. What a miracle it is to see your baby growing and learning about the world around them for the first time. It’s so wonderful.

The concerts in Verona and Venice were so much fun. I LOVE singing to Italian audiences – they are so passionate and knowledgable about choral music and the country is littered with beautiful venues, perfect for chamber music. Also, I always return to UK seemingly heavier than before I went – the food is simply too good!

Off to Ludlow tomorrow for a concert on Pat’s home turf. The ‘home’ gigs are always the scariest, as you look out into the audience and recognise everyone looking back at you! He’ll be absolutely fine though – he’s doing a brilliant job.

Toddle-oo for now….
