Can't believe we're into the third week of term already! Seems like only yesterday that Pat was singing his first concert. Things are going really well, and we're a happy bunch! Today we have a day of rehearsing in a familiar church in Mayfair (a fancy part of central London). It's a real luxury to be able to dedicate a whole day to creating and crafting sound together, without the time pressure of having to finish before we then get into concert mode, like we do most days on tour. So in general we actually all rather look forward to rehearsals, since so much can be achieved when we're working efficiently, and because a lot of excitement comes from progressing quickly and far in a longer rehearsal session. Also, Mayfair is just such a lovely part of London to be in, owing to its gorgeous red-brick architecture and nice, open green spaces; and on a sunny day like today...
