London, England

Today is our second day recording in London for our next album, an EP called The Library, showcasing some of our best-loved close-harmony music alongside some brand new arrangements.

Without naming the tracks (top secret for now!), I can tell you that they include a Beatles’ song, a piece from an opera, a newly-arranged Faroese folk song, and a K-pop track! The variety of styles and genres has required a great deal of vocal flexibility but the challenge has been thrilling (and exhausting). Luckily I found some gluten-free chocolate-covered ginger cookies to keep me going!

I cannot wait to hear the results of our work. Now for a day’s rest – a lie in and a catch up with friends – before filming music videos on Thursday.

In my first few months the travel has been wonderful but I am enjoying being back in London too. I’d almost forgotten how it feels to sleep in the same bed for more than two nights in a row!
