James and the Giant Pécs

Well, writing my first blog as a married man, I must say I rather like it. Some people said to me that having been with Liz for nearly nine years, once we were married nothing'd change, but that's not my experience of the past fortnight or so. It's incredible! A game-changer. There's an amazing sense of togetherness that nine years of courting did it's best to work towards but that one ring now represents so perfectly. A quick glance down and life's all good. So, after the most amazing Easter break EVER it's back into the swing of things. This week we've met, rehearsed, recorded and even pre-recorded (it's a secret so you'll have to wait!) before hopping on a plane to Budapest. Currently driving to Pécs, south-east of the capital. Looking forward to singing tomorrow night in the Kodály Centre, four years after the last visit. Always nice to go back to cities and towns and villages and concert halls...Like seeing an old friend, you catch up where you left off.Hope to see you at a gig soon. Looking forward to seeing my wife this weekend :-DBye for now!
