At home

I'm coming to the end of a few lovely days at home preparing for the trip to the US which starts tomorrow. We start in the warmth (I hope) of Florida, and will be rehearsing our Great American Songbook programme on Wednesday before the first show on Thursday. We have a number of these shows throughout the trip, interspersed with other mixed programmes, including Saturday's benefit concert in Minneapolis for Park Nicollet Freuenshuh Cancer Centre. These are always great events to visit, and we will give two performances in the Mormon Tabernacle. We will also be able to meet up with a number of former KS, including Paul and Robin, and we hope to have a massed photo to grace our website! We had a wonderful trip to Ireland, with concerts in Cork, Limerick and at the National Concert Hall in Dublin. As ever we had great audiences, and I can't wait to go back. Each time I visit, I think I must go back on holiday. Part of my heritage (the Hurley bit) comes from the area around Cork, and one day I'd like to visit as a tourist with a bit more time to enjoy the country. One day...
