Heathrow, England

Well! It’s an exciting moment. We’re off to Japan.

This is a country that I have been especially excited to visit since joining the group, and the time has come; take off is but 5 minutes away! (Well I thought it was…the captain has just announced that some catering trucks have been abandoned behind our plane, so we may be on the tarmac a little longer…hopefully we’ll make up the time during the 12 hour flight!)

We have an exciting two weeks of engagements in Japan, Hong Kong and China. My colleagues have all told me how much they like visit Asia, and this trip will be particularly special as we will be singing for Her Imperial Highness, Princess Takamado. This is such an honour!

And when we return, The King’s Singers Summer School at Clare College will soon be upon us. I have so enjoyed meeting many of you after concerts and hearing that we will be sharing the week together in Cambridge this summer!

I look forward to meeting many of you in Asia!

See you soon,

Eddie
