En route to Würzburg

Hello everybody! I hope we are all well.I'm writing this in the back of a van with dear Julian driving us from Frankfurt airport to Würzburg. We've got a concert tonight at the Hochschule für Musik in this beautiful city. I've been here a fair bit over the last 9 years and my memory is of a wonderful stage and an equally wonderful audience. I am always amazed at our German audiences. It's certainly our most visited country in Europe and yet every concert is well-attended and every audience is buoyant and welcoming. We're very lucky that over the last 50 years the group has built up such wonderful friendships with audience members, and the love for a cappella singing is as strong now as it's ever been. LONG LIVE A CAPPELLA!!!Right, I must go and sort out Gemma's present for her birthday which is this Friday. At least the birthday card is in the post!! :)Toodle-oo for now.....
