On 2 October, we release our latest recording, The Library Vol. 2. This is the second release in our EP series ‘The Library’, exploring both the history, and the new horizons, of our close-harmony repertoire.
The track-listing is designed to celebrate some old favourites from the library alongside brand new arrangements and adaptations, created especially for these recordings, which may perhaps become ‘old favourites’ of the future.
Volume 2 was recorded in the beautiful surroundings of Snape Maltings, Suffolk (UK) – a place most famous for its association with Benjamin Britten – and it proved to be a relaxing and inspiring place to work for two beautiful wintry days.
Today also marks the start of our #DigitalTour on IDAGIO’s Global Concert Hall. We’re delighted to have four digital concerts broadcast on IDAGIO over the coming months and today’s programme celebrates our new release with ‘The Library’ Live. It will feature a mix of close harmony favourites (Greensleeves and Danny Boy) as well as some new ones too including songs by James Blake, The Beatles and Paul Simon.
Tickets are €9.90 to purchase and we’ve extended the availability of each of the four concerts until the end of the year, so you can watch whenever you like once they’re out!
