Made it to New Zealand! Everywhere is a first time for me on this tour, but it is particularly exciting to make it to the furthest place from home that I've ever visited. Adding to the excitement is the fact that my girlfriend Victoria has joined us on tour and the countdown to the Easter holidays has begun: as of next Monday, the tour will be over and we will start our 16-day camper van holiday around this stunningly beautiful country.In the meantime, very much looking forward to our concert here tomorrow, which I'm sure will be very special for Bruiser as it's a home gig for him. We actually just went for dinner not too far from our hotel at an amazingly delicious place called Bamboozle, and on the way there we walked past the remains of Christchurch Cathedral which was severely damaged during the big earthquake not too long ago. So sad to see its insides exposed to the elements like that... I think I'm going to go and revise my earthquake drill methods now...
