Bern, Switzerland

Hello/Hallo/Bonjour from somewhere near Basel. It’s a curious airport that sits on the junction of France, Switzerland and Germany — in fact, when you can exit from the baggage reclaim, you’re able to choose which country you wish to enter! Today, we chose Switzerland, as we’re heading to the city of Bern for tonight’s concert. This will be our 3rd country in 3 days, after an enjoyable few days which has taken us thus far to the Netherlands, Germany, Austria and now Switzerland. The weather has been unseasonally warm, and the jumpers in my suitcase have been lying dormant.

We have a 5 hour drive tomorrow, but no concert, before we begin a row of 5 concerts from Wednesday to Sunday, which will take us back through Germany and Austria and over to Hungary, where we have a concert in beautiful Budapest. But I’ll leave the others to tell you more along the way.

The Kickstarter campaign, raising funds to help our filmmaker friends continue with their King’s Singers documentary, is still running, and if you haven’t seen it yet (with its donation rewards) then please do have a look here. Sorry for the plug! 🔌
