Berlin, Germany

How wonderful to have a whole day (free both from travelling and singing!) in Berlin, where we're able to enjoy the summery weather on rooftop cafes, catch up on sleep (still recovering from our busy patch in Asia!) and tick off lots of things on our to-do lists. So pleasant and satisfying! Furthermore, my girlfriend has joined me for these two days, which effectively has brought home to me (rather than me go home), so that makes everything even nicer.Looking forward to our concert at the Berlin Konzerthaus this evening. It's such a lovely venue! I remember the last time we were here (two or three years ago), we performed an unusual KS programme which involved piano accompaniment in a couple of pieces, and a particularly interesting memory was of the "Berliner Requiem" by Kurt Weill, in which Johnny, Bruiser and I had to sing like oratorio soloists at the top of our range for about 15 minutes non-stop... I'm glad we're doing our more familiar GOLD programme tonight, which will undoubtedly be more enjoyable for everyone in the building! :D
