A tour of the Antipodes

Our founding members began The King’s Singers’ international touring career with a 35-concert tour of Australia and New Zealand.

What a pleasure it has been to return for concerts in Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Christchurch, Wellington and Auckland. We have worked with choirs both in concert and in some specially arranged masterclass days at Monash University and Trinity College in Melbourne.

As well as sharing our new commissions for GOLD across the world, we were also able to premiere a piece specially commissioned for us to perform in concert with the astounding New Zealand Voices, as part of the New Zealand Festival, by Aucklander Leonie Holmes: This Watershed Time.
