In the summer of this year, we presented the ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ programme at the Cheltenham Festival, which ended with Willy Rushton and Carl Davis’ piece ‘Covetousness’, which morphed into ‘Sir Harry North’s Last Case’, the first of what would become many mini opera spoofs. This particular gem began with Tony [Holt] lying on the front of the stage at our feet, singing “I am a corpse”, and went even further downhill thereafter!
