The Midlands, England

Today has been a busy and varied day! I work up early to drive my partner to work, then I took my mum to the dentist, after which I spent an hour attempting to book some flights, and then I drove to Heathrow picking up Bruiser on the way. Thankfully, I am slowly building up the confidence to arrive at the airport less early; I hope I haven’t just spoken too soon!

We are en route to Germany to start a tour of three concerts, two in Germany and one in Switzerland. I am particularly looking forward to singing in the Frauenkirche in Dresden tomorrow as I am told that it has a wonderful acoustic.

It has been a very packed term so far, and I completely agree with Pat’s description, in his blog yesterday, of how we are feeling; dizzy! So far we have performed nine concerts in five countries (France, the UK, Poland, Russia and Germany) in only 17 days.  We have a short break after this trip which will be a change to recharge a little before the rest of term.
