London, UK

Good morning everybody! How are we doing?Well, Chris G and I have nipped home for 24 hours to say hello to our families, whilst the other 4 chaps have lots of meetings about 2019 during this 'day off' today. It is amazing when you think how small the world is, now that air travel is so efficient. We left Hamburg, Germany at 0730 and arrived in London, UK at 0730!! Gemma's working from home today so I should be able to see her in between all of her phone meetings, and then I'll be chomping at the bit to go and pick Harry up later on. Can't wait! It was Father's Day a few days ago and I got a wonderful card from him (with the help of Gemma, I'm sure - thanks Gemma!) and it was a lovely thought that next Father's Day, I'll be spending the day with him and Gemma IN PERSON!!So we're in the middle of another hugely successful German patch right now. It's amazing to think that Germany was one of the first countries that the group established itself in, and all these years later, audiences are still flocking to come and hear the group. It's a very humbling thought and I'm so, so proud to be part of this amazing ensemble. A couple of facts for you - the first concert the group gave in Germany was in 1977 in Ludwigsburg, near Stuttgart, and the first appearance on German TV was the year before, in 1976. Walking out onto a beautiful stage, singing to a sold-out auditorium should never be taken for granted, and we work tirelessly to ensure that we are at the top of our a cappella game, EVERY time we sing for the public.Right, I better go and tick off some KS admin before I pick up Harry and head off to his favourite place - the playground!!Hope you're all well.Toodle-oo for now....
