It has been a whirlwind day, starting in Budapest early this morning and then flying to Frankfurt for our concert at the Alte Oper this evening, which was a lovely show in the fantastic concert hall there! Our wonderful German agent from KDSchmidt took us out for dinner afterwards, which is always great fun! The group has an extraordinary relationship with Germany since its first concert here in 1978, and similarly our relationship with our management here is fantastic; they do such an incredible job to organise such amazing concerts for us throughout the year.We can catch up on sleep tonight as tomorrow is a rest-day, although it goes without saying(!) that we're fitting in some valuable meeting time over lunch. We always seem to have lunch meetings... some sort of a trend with the touring lifestyle I guess!
