Debrecen

First time for me in Debrecen. It's a lovely city – the second largest in Hungary after Budapest – that's full of history and it's one of the most important cultural centres in Hungary. Interesting fact for you: it's previously been the capital city during the revolution in the late 1840s and also by the end of the Second World War.The concert went really well this evening. The audience were lovely and gave us very generous applause – the famous Hungarian 'slow clap' – which really lifted us. We'll do it all again tomorrow night with the resident orchestra and professional choir. For me, it's a joy to work with other musicians and share our love of music.Hope this finds you all well. Not setting an alarm for tomorrow I think. Rest time!Night.
