Athens, GA

Good morning, all! Is everyone well?

It’s a beautiful sunny day here in Athens, Georgia, and we’re all excited for our upcoming performance at The Hodgson Concert Hall this evening. We had a rehearsal yesterday, as I’m sure you read in Patty’s blog, with the sublime Hodgson Singers. They really are VERY good! We have a few joint pieces with them tonight, including the piece co-commissioned by UGA for our anniversary by super-star American composer, Nico Muhly. It’s called To Stand In This House and it’s been a real crowd-pleaser thus far. Long may it continue!

Tomorrow we leave for Houston, Texas. One of my favourite places in America – I don’t think the audiences get any louder than in Houston! Love it.

Toodle-oo for now…..
