Hong Kong

You find us in Hong Kong airport, at the end of our 2017 Asia tour and my very first trip to Asia as a King's Singer. We're waiting to board the flight home, and enjoying the hospitality of this super-modern airport! It's been an amazing and enlightening tour in so many ways. The fans over here are great fun; they always seem so excited to meet us afterwards, and are great proponents of the selfie! The concerts have been lovely, with great music and always a warm reception for the Chinese folk song set in particular. It's very exciting to be heading home though, of course, and waiting at home are Ellie, a very promising vegetable patch, some home cooking, and friends to visit. All good things! It's not long till I'll be back on duty though, as on Wednesday Johnny and I are heading into Royal Holloway College to give a workshop to the fantastic chapel choir there. It'll be a jet lag fest, but exciting to work with that excellent choir.
